In this class, we will explore the texture and volume of acrylic paintings that can only be created with palette knives. This type of painting—without a brush—is an exciting way to use thick acrylic layers to paint lively abstract pieces. These paintings have less to do with creating specific figure or scene, but instead express color in multiple layers, gestures, and forms. Your finished pieces will express moods and emotions based on texture and color alone. It’s a freeing experience and perfect for beginner painters. Each attendee will leave with at least two small painted canvases. 2-Hour Session: $35 per person
